Studdering powerpoint
Screenmonkey is just the thing our small church needed, thanks.

I have just one issue when you switch to a powerpoint presentation it opens for a second and then goes blank and then a second later will open again and stay on. Is there a way around this as it looks very unprofessional.

Thanks

Re: Studdering powerpoint
This is connected to the way Screen Monkey displays Power Point and I have not found a way around it yet. Unfortunatletly Microsoft do not provide an interface to display Power Point directly in your application until the presentation is running. So you have to open the presentation first and then pull it into Screen Monkey. This means you see the presentation open first before it is displayed correctly.

There are two ways you can minimise the effect of this to your audience. The first is to show a blank colour clip before opening the presentation. The colour clip will always be displayed as preference and hide the presentation being opened.

The seccond and possibly the better is to set Power Point to run its shows on a monitor the audsience can not see. I have it set to run presentations on the primary monitor and Screen Monkey displays on the second monitor. Then you will find the presentation flashes up on the primary monitor and is not visible to the audience.
