I presume you are meaning that you have a song in a Power Point presentation and you want to display that rather than use the built in Song clip.

The most likely cause of a problem displaying Power Point is that you do not have Power Point 2002 or newer installed.

If this is not the case then please tell me what the error message you get says and I will do my best to find a solution.

Yes, Thank you the problem is that I have an old version of Powerpoint. However, how do I use the song clip? I downloaded easislides, does it somehow work with that. I tried to open a song but it says it has to be in .xml format

confused

Unless you know how to convert your existing song database to an xml format you are stuck with entering the songs manually. Once you have created the song though it can be saved to xml and you can search through all your songs.

To create a new song you simply right click and select song on a panel. This will open a space for you to type in or paste. To mark a verse you type in "Verse n" where verse is the number of the verse. Once you have typed this will be highlighted blue to indicate it has picked up the tag. These tags will not be displayed with the song. It is a good idea to also enter a title. When you are finished press OK. You may also want to set the sequence string which determines the order the verses appear in e.g. "1C2CB3C".

If you have a specific song database you want to convert then I may be able to help you. I have an application already to convert from a SongPro database.

Ok thanks for the response the cleared up alot.
i also have another question though

I have a New years eve service for my church. Do you have any visual ideas?
I downloaded a countdown timer and a firework loop, but I feel that I should do something more inspirational for the new year and to remeber what God did for us this past year. My pastor declared that 2009 will be our season of greatness. So, whatever slides or videos i put up must be insprational.

Do you know where I can get nice free media like this? maybe some inpiring mountain ranges or sunsets or some video loop

sorry for rambling on
