Re: MIDI

Just spotted - here is an error log when I start the program or change some settings. I haven't pasted the 3 other entries about System access violation > r/w protected memory.

Thanks.

Re: MIDI
If you are getting that error then the MIDI module is not loading at all so you presumably are not getting any MIDI option in the settings dialog. I will have a look at what might be causing this error a bit later.

Re: MIDI
What version of Windows are you using. Is it by any chance Vista x64?

Re: MIDI

Hi,

I got Screen Monkey to load without an error when I had another program closed. When the error did occur, there was no MIDI section in the settings as you said.

I have tried this on two computers - one XP home and the other Vista, neither 64 bit editions, but neither work.

Thanks.

Re: MIDI
I've now got it working. I'm not really sure what I did to get it work. There are 4 virtual ports available, I chose a different one and it worked. Maybe it's something to do with it only using the first device.

Anyhow this is great news, as its going to make show tech running much easier.
