Hi,

I've just recently finished doing video for a production of Return from the Forbidden Planet, as part of the videos we had flash animations that performed an action on a keypress, as the person who was producing the flash animations couldn't work out how to use the Actionscript Key mappings within Screen Monkey (partly due to lack of time) I used the utility cmdow:

http://www.commandline.co.uk/cmdow/

and the following batfile set to execute from windows when I pressed F10 to make the flash window active:

cmdow.exe MacromediaFlashPlayerActiveX /ACT

Is there any possibility of adding such a feature to screenmonkey itself to avoid these seperate steps? It was one extra thing I had to remember when playing those particular clips Or perhaps execute a specified command/bat files when a clip is played.

As you have said there is already the capability of sending keys 0 through to 9 for the purposes of controlling flash animation. What functionality do you want that is not achieved by this.

There is very little documentation on this so I will try and improve the help on this.
