First of all this is a GREAT product! I have been searching for something like this for YEARS, 5+, and only came across it by dumb luck when I was searching the web for power point problems with videos playing in presentation mode (long story...)
Not that the product really NEEDS any of these, but I think they would be cool.
It would be neat if the product supported more layers, specifically for multiple monitors, so say you could get 4 or 6 (or an unlimited number) outputs from the same program for powering larger shows and more screens (or just inputs if feeding into a video production switcher to cue videos / keep stock graphics up on the screen and just have more stuff handy).
Also it would be neat if there were different options for the layout of
the GUI interface, or maybe setting where you could drag and drop and
seperate the clips easily on the screen (and have options for more
labeling on the screen). So you could just physically lay things out (like how the clips are posisitioned) just to make it easier to see say 25 or 30 clips during a big production in a way that makes sense to the operation (say scene 1, scene 2, etc.). Not necessary but would be cool..
Teleprompter software is VARY expensive, and usually not too friendly. It would be neat if this software could support doing teleprompter output(s) with one of the video card outputs. (this ties more into my last big suggestion).
During large productions, there is usually a script that has to be followed with cue points, I've never seen anything like this - but if you could load a script into the software, say it shows up on the right side of the screen in a skinny vertical column - and then by assignging keys to scroll down it would / could have cue points in it. Also with my teleprompter suggestion above, maybe the script / teleprompter could all be tied into one somehow, so one person could sit and control the speed of the teleprompter, and then it would keep up with the script on the control screen showing tech cue points and tech notes. Taking that one step further, with another video output you could have a "tech" screen showing cue poitns for lighting, sound, and video, that might be excessive though. You probably get the general idea of the teleprompter / cue points suggestion - not too much to do specially with the program - but would be a really neat and impressive to have one big application that could do it all. In todays day and age with LCD monitors so cheap, churches and smaller venue's of all kinds could take advantage of teleprompters just by setting them on lecters - even if the teleprompter wasn't scrolling a script, but just tech notes that were related to the presentation. And with cue poitns built in a presentor could scroll through is notes, and have it cue videos and multimedia content if desired.
Again awesome product, great idea, theres a huge lack out there for software like this! Sorry I wrote so much. Thanks for your time, John
