I have emailed this directly to you but will add it to the forum for all to read, incase others can add to what I have said:

The ONLY thing I see missing for MY daily application of this type of sotware, is that when setting the layers..

If I were able to actually type in the actual pixel sizes and locations of the windows, it would be PERFECT for the LED screens I operate regularly in live shows.
This is because the system we use, the LED screen is a clone of the main desktop, but the LED screen outputs a section of the desktop screen starting from X and Y pixel, displaying A and B pixels depending on the screen size. Effectively, the LED screen is a small section of a standard DVI screen.
EG currently I'm opperating 3 4x3 meter screens with 64 horizontaly and 64 pixels vertically.
Giving me a screen of 256 x 192. If I were able to type this number directly into your software, and then the X and Y location of the first pixel for each layer... My quality life would be very much richer indeed!

I also see this as a benefit as for some videos, when you rip it. the aspect ratio comes out wrong, or some software letterboxes above and below on  a 16x9 and therefor turning it into a letterboxed 4x3, when you want fullscreen 16x9. With a system where I could physcally type in the pixels, doing the maths to set a layer, on site, would be extremely easy in the case that multiple clients arrive with videos of multiple formats, ratios etc, I could set the one of the 3 layers to accept letterboxed, eliminating the letterbox, another at true 16x9 and one for 4x3 etc then run the specific video in a specific layer.. thus iliminating all ratio problems

Would it be possible to these ideas integrated into the software, as an option to use rather than the %'age system??

Again, Many thanks.

I know exactly what you mean! I was on a site visit before Christmas and experienced the same problem. Rest assured this will be in the next version.

Glad you like the software! Please keep the suggestions and good ideas coming.
