Hi,

Tasked with a problem for our college hall. We have a single projector and a large screen.

We want to be able to split that output into 4 areas . One showing live video coming in from an external device, another showing a ticker, another showing a news website and the last to show a powerpoint - video wall style.

Is there any way that ScreenMonkey can divide the output of the second display into 4 areas, and then show different content in each area?

Thanks.

You can easily do 3 panels but 4 is a little more tricky since the main dashboard only supports 3 layers. It is however possible and here is how you do it.

1) Create a display profile with layer 1 and 2 in the top two quadrants.

2) Create another display profile with layers 1 and 2 in the bottom 2 quadrants.

3) Create two space clips.

4) Set the display profile of the space clips to your two display profiles respectively.

5) Now any clips you run in the first space on layers 1 and 2 will appear in the top quadrants and any clips you run in the second space on layers 1 and 2 will appear in the bottom quadrants.

The next version has 4 video layers making this much easier.
