I have had emails from a couple of other users experiencing problems. Here where the problems and the fixes in both circumstances.
- A message was displayed on startup saying it was unable to load a type from the configuration file. This was caused by not having v3 of the .net framework installed. If you are having this problem please ensure you have the latest version of the .net framework installed by following step 1 in the downloads section.
- Program would crash when run on a PC not using English as the regional language. This can be fixed using a different configuration file which I will upload to the downloads section.
If you are experiencing a different problem then please email me the information relative to Screen Monkey in your windows event log and I will try to resolve your problem.
It also helps to delete any previous settings files from the Screen Monkey installation directory. The file is called ScreenMonkeySettings.xml.
