I have just downloaded v3.2 and found that it crashes on start every time. Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you got the latest .net framework 3.5 installed?

You should get something in the event log, look in Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Event Viewer and under Applications. If you post the details here I might be able to see what the problem is.

Are you upgrading from version 3.1?

I think I did upgrade from 3.1 also .NET 3.5 is refusing to install so i will keep trying with that and report back.

Many thanks,

Adam

I have just run a test on a fresh Vista install with the latest updates and .net 3.0 and it all worked ok.

I have seen this error before and it normally indicates that the .net install has become corrupted. This tends to happen after upgrading to one of the Vista service packs. You should try and repair the .net install. The fact that you are having trouble installing .net 3.5 might indicate that something is wrong.

I will continue to look at your problem, sorry for any inconvenience!

I have repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled .net 3.5 sp1 and the same problem keeps occuring. Also the touchpad utility keeps crashing so it might be related to that, I'm not sure if thats built on .net though.

Why did I "upgrade" to vista???
