This is the error log from tonight's presentation, which surprised me a little bit.

The only thing that I saw was the usual fraction of a second drag on the start of the video playabck from a DVD ROM.

Anything that I need to look at or take care of?

If there was some way such as a polling loop to keep the CD ROM drives spun up when you are playing offf of teh CD ROMs, that would be nice and maybe get the start up faster with out the little hick-up that occured around 0:00:25 ( 1/4 of a second when we started the piece).

Thank you for a very helpful program, I'll be passing the word around.

Re: Error Log
This is nothing to worry about, I have seen this in other log files.

The error message you are getting is actually a bug in DirectX as it was labelled incorrectly. It should say "No buffer space has been set" which means when the video stops playing it is not quite stopping correctly. This is a fault but it is not one that has any consiquences so you can ignore it.

Thank you for mentioning this as it is very usful information and I will try and fix this in the next version.

I agree that a mechansim to stop the DVD drive spinning down would be very usful. I did a presentation recently when I could have used it. I will see what I can do ;-)

Re: Error LogThis
This is from the SundayPlus Site about keeping the DVD spinning:

I hear that this dandy tool works. Set disc spin down time to infinite. http://www.cdspeed2000.com/files/NeroDriveSpeed_300.zip[/quote]
