Glitz between clips?

Hi!

Here some new users of SM with broblems. Just downloaded V 3.1 to Vista. Works fine instead of one nasty feature.
When moving from clip to another using fade, there`s a glitz between them. Just like when video loses sync and the picture goes black for one eyeflick.
Does anyone know what i should do? I`ve allmost tried everything. This broblem doesn`t happen when i use V3.0, there`s another thing. Other fades than basic style won`t work and the picture changes without fade, and i couldn`t find where to change the layers transparency.
In XP V3.1 works allright.
The program is nice and easy to use, thank you for it.

You are absolutely right, thank you for reporting this!

There is a bug where some of the effects will not work but there is another problem that video will not work with the fade wipe effects and fly effects due to a limitation in the technology I am using. I have spent quite a while trying to fix this but it is a compromise as fixing it may mean loosing many of the clip types. I am working towards you being able to choose a renderer and make this sacrifice for yourselves but for the moment only fade effects work with video in Vista.

I have spent the day trying to fix the glitch and think Ihave finally solved it. I hope to release another version with this fix soon after I have checked it thoroughly.

I hope you like the new features in 3.1 :-)
