Text overlay
Can screen monkey place text over a video loop? My church has a Computer with Microsoft XP on it. I would especially need it for this New years eve service that I mentioned before. Also, I may have asked you about this , but what visually would you put up during a new years eve service, I already downloaded some fireworks and new year countdowns, but I think I should put something more special up. I did not really find what I was looking for on those free sites.

Re: Text overlay
To place text over a video loop you setup and run the video loop on layer 1 and then change the song clip background to transparent. If you now run this on layer 2 the text will be displayed on top of the video.

I think what I was trying to say in my last post is that you are probably not going to find the video you want for free. In my experience you will have to look at buying some content. If I was doing this I would probably go out and film some sights around the local area and put some interesting effects over the top. If I had a video library then I would intersperse some of that as well. If it is some stunning nature shots you want then there is plenty around but I have not come across anything myself that is free. Your best bet is to think of a theme and then google "river canyon free video" etc.

Hope that helps!

Re: Text overlay

Hi, I have tried this method a lot of times, and it looks really great!

Recently, I downgraded from Vista to XP, and now the text flickers continuously whenever I play video on the background. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

Re: Text overlay

This is a limitation of XP, you need to be running Vista or above to get this functionality.
