Me again!

Am currently using screen monkey to run a screen in our foyer/reception area. All is well.

However when trying to run a powerpoint it is not running past slide one, when using the timings from powerpoint.

After clicking it once it continues to loop perfectly. However as this system is left alone most of the time i cant afford to keep coming and clicking to advance it.

If i set it to start my powerpoint to run from slide 2 everything works as normal! It carrys on through slides 3, 4 and 5 then loops to 1, 2 etc.

Hope ive made this clear ish...

powerpoint version is 2003

Many Thanks - Any Ideas

(as i am practically trying to get monkeys to use this software; i need them to be able to right click, select there powerpoint file and play it without touching the slide it starts on. (trust me that would completly throw them!)

This has been a problem for a while and I have had several attempts at fixing it. The difficulty is that Power Point will stop running auto timings when the Window is no longer active. This has meant that I have had to try several methods to fool Power Point into thinking the window is active. I will have another look at it and see what I can do.

Once you click the second time though it should continue to run and not stop on slide 1.

In the next version you can add Screen Monkey to the list of application that you right click and select. Having just tried it, the Power Point will open and then start playing straight away.
