Is there any way to pre load video clips so that they start almost instaneously when you click on them?

A different way of putting the question:

When I play a clip through once, at the end of the clip the yellow outline and "stop" square remain on the clip. If I then play the same clip again it starts much quicker. I would like to be able to cue the clips in this way but without having to visibly run them through once.

Any ideas?

Peter

I have the same problem! Screen Monkey looks like a great piece of software but the fact it seems to take about 5-6 seconds from the time i click the video until it plays makes it unusable for this application. The program needs to buffer the clips so when you trigger them to play they play instantly. I have looked through all the options and cannot find anything related to buffering the clips. I don't think it can be my PC specs as I have Arkaos GrandVJ installed and that works fine with a 2nd full screen video output. The only problem with GrandVJ is it only supports audio on quicktime files and nothing else.

You can pre-load a clip to the screen by double clicking on it.
