I initially set Screen Monkey up on an old laptop, but when running an avi clip the sound was not right (probably due to the lack of power in the laptop as Windows Media Player shows exactly the same problem). So I tried re-setting up on my desktop sustem. Everything appears to install OK but when I select the same avi clip I get an error saying "A clip failed to initialise while trying to play. This could indicate a fault with the media or the clip type". Windows Media Player can run this file without a problem. As all the software and files used are the same as used on the laptop, I can only assume that there is a conflict somewhere. How can I find out what the real problem is?

There should be another error giving more information or look at the detailed view. Can you post the exception here for me to look at?

Try taking the event filter to 24hr.

I am concerned that the "filename" is apparently undefined when it has only just been added.
