I hope I am not questioning you to death.  We are setting up a new room at our house of prayer and need to consider our options.  I see that SM can show a live capture from a camera.  We would like to feed our prayer room to the new room as an overflow.  We are looking into a camera option and I was wondering what to use.  Can SM use a web cam as a live feed?

As long as the camera supports DirectX Capture you will be able to use it in Screen Monkey. Most web cams that connect via USB will work. Any cameras which operate over IP will probably have there own interface and so not work in Screen Monkey.

If you have a link to the camera spec I could tell you for certain.

You should really be looking at a standard camera though for what you want. Most web cameras have reduced resolution or frame rate. You will be better of getting a cheap hand held camera that has firewire than trying to use a web cam.

Hey, thanks for all the hard work and getting back to me.  The computer that we are using has firewire so that was my other consideration.  I will have to look into that.
