Re: .MOV Videos not playing

What format are the mov files in. You can not play mov files encoded using RLE or another animation format.

Whether you can play mov files is dependant on whether you have a directx codec that supports it. The K-Lite codec pack will install codecs for playing most mov types but not all. Try encoding the mov in a different format.

Re: .MOV Videos not playing

I'm not sure, our creative director at the church creates the mov file from her IMac using the native iMovie. How do I find out what she is using to encode?

Thanks for the quick reply

Re: .MOV Videos not playing

I tried playing the mov file in quicktime and it worked obviously, I also tried playing it in Windows media player and it worked as well. But as soon as I try it in Screen Monkey it doesn't work

Re: .MOV Videos not playing

Can you send me an example file to look at. You may need to use something like rapidshare and send the link to support@screenmonkey.co.uk.

When you install the K-Lite codec pack it also installs an application called GSpot which will identify the codec used in the mov file.
