In there any support for using OpenOffice Impress instead of PowerPoint with Screen Monkey?

And can Firefox be used instead of Internet Explorer?

OpenOffice Support

Whilst open office has a fairly substatial API, none of it opens up the ability for it to be embedded within Screen Monkey. It has been promised and I keep checking but to date no such API exists. given I have been waitting for 4 years, I do not hold out much hope. Feel free to hound the OpenOffice developers on this issue.

Firefox Support

Currently this is not supported but after a quick check it does look like this might be fairly simple to do. I will try and support this in the next version.

Appreciate that you are considering support of firefox.  Did not realize that it was the api that allows for, or at least provides the path to, embedding.

My last programming was on the BBC Micro, about 20 years ago. That was just in Basic.  I use Linux but don't program (yet; that could change  :)

Just put together a little test run of using Firefox in the web browser clip and it worked well. Only bad news is that it does not support 64Bit yet so it still will not help with the flash problem.
