Viewable File titles 

Well Like most people I agree that this is a great little program with a great deal of potential.

 

I have a whole list of things I'd love to see the program have.

1. The abillity to title each file window. (some video files start from black or a background color or something that doesn't adequateley describe what the file is).

2. A countdown timer would be absolouteley great.... for obvious reasons. If only minutes and seconds.

3. Te abillity to linf files would be very cool if only adjacent ones. having the abillity to play from one file to the other would be massiveley usefull.

4. Something that would be kind of cool is if you could attatch a letter key to a file to cue playback. I know you can use the funtion keys but the abillity to attach a letter key is handy for when following cues from a script during shows.

I might be worth a luck at programs like "Multiwave" or any of the broadcast wav. file playback platforms. As that kind of user interface with screenmonkeys multimedia power would be brilliant in one package.

You should be able to do this by right clicking on the required clip and select "Set Name"

This hopefully will be implemented in the future, it's something I've asked for too.

This is something you can already do as Matt described.

I am also desperate for this function but it is not going to make it into Version 2. It is high on my list for the future.

3. The abillity to link files would be very cool if only adjacent ones. having the abillity to play from one file to the other would be massiveley usefull.

I am not sure how I would achieve this with the current interface and keep it simple. It would definatly be a good idea but I need to think how I can do it and not make things too complicated.

This is now included in version 2 and will be in the next release.
